Thanks for joining me!
I’ve been meaning to start a blog for a while. My hope is to use this as a place to share my favorite photos.
I am a child portrait and family photographer in Arvada, Colorado.
And I takes lots of photos of my own children. And my first photography-love is nature, so you’ll likely see lots of that around here.
I’ll probably share a lot of photos of my family, mostly my kids, on our outdoor adventures, enjoying as much nature as we can! We’re so lucky to have so many beautiful places to explore in Colorado. I hope to connect with other outdoor-loving families through this blog and other social medias.
I’ll also share favorite images of clients now and then. As well as my nature photos.
I have a few projects in the works, too. I’ll definitely be sharing those as well!

Day 109 of my Project 365. Negative Space. Laying on the new spring grass in Arvada, CO.
In fact, one of my projects this year is my Project 365, aptly named “Journey” since it’s all about my journey to find my style as a photographer. I already have somewhat of a style to my images (I love backlight, I love rich colors) but styles are always changing and I’m always learning new things to improve my craft.
[A Project 365, if you don’t know, is when you commit to take one photo every single day for one year. I started on January 1, 2018. I’m part of a group that are all doing this project together, and we are given a theme each day to help us find something to photograph or to think about as we photograph.]
